John came to The Tailored Foundation while preparing for two wedding receptions held in distinct settings, one in Kentucky and another in Brazil for his wife’s family. The commission required a formal look that could transition seamlessly between climates, cultures, and luxury venues.

Our goal was to create a bespoke tuxedo and coordinated wardrobe that delivered timeless elegance, comfort, and versatility across both celebrations.

The Challenge

Designing a tuxedo for dual international receptions meant balancing structure and breathability across very different environments. The look needed to maintain a refined, formal presence suitable for upscale venues while remaining comfortable in varying climates. At the same time, the wardrobe had to feel cohesive and consistent across both events without appearing repetitive.

Our Approach

Tuxedo Design

We crafted a bespoke tuxedo with a clean, classic silhouette and balanced proportions. The structure provided a sharp, formal profile while allowing natural movement for extended ceremonies and celebrations.

Climate-Conscious Fabric

A premium fabric was selected for its breathability, smooth drape, and ability to maintain structure in both temperate and warmer conditions. This ensured comfort and composure across both receptions.

Coordinated Wardrobe

To complete the look, we designed custom midnight shoes and handcrafted shirts that complemented the tuxedo’s tone and formality. Each element worked together to create a polished, cohesive appearance suitable for luxury wedding settings.

Precision Tailoring

Multiple fittings refined jacket balance, shoulder alignment, sleeve pitch, and trouser break. The final fit delivered a composed silhouette while ensuring ease of movement throughout both celebrations.

The Result
